Tropical Flower Nail Design ~ Pink Floral Nails

Hey everyone. Hope you all are doing great. I like flower nail designs a lot. Today I have a Tropical Flower Nail Design to share with you all. I choose a shimmery turquoise nail polish for the back ground for this Nail Art. Turquoise and Pink color combination looks so pretty. I’m planning on doing more nail designs using the same color combination. Hope you will enjoy this Pink Floral Nails.

Items and Tools I Used

  • Base Coat
  • Pink Nail Polish – Maybelline Color Show Chrome Pink
  • Turquoise Blue Nail Polish – Colorbar Nail Polish Peacock Blue
  • Glitter Nail Varnish – Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy Satellite
  • Acrylic Paint – Green and Pink
  • Nail Art Decoration Pearls
  • Nail Art Liner Brush
  • Nail Art Dotting Tool to apply Pearls
  • Top Coat

How I did the Nail Design

Start by applying base coat on your nails. Base coat protects the natural shine on your nails and adds to the staying power of your manicure. After the nails are dry, apply the shimmery turquoise nail polish on the Accent nails and pink nail polish on other nails.

The turquoise blue nail polish I used is very sheer. I applied three layer and it looked opaque but if you notice the pictures, my natural nails still peeking through. I noticed this only after I completed the design. So take your time and apply as many layers as needed for your polish to be opaque.

Let’s get to the flower design. With green acrylic paint on the liner brush, make a curvy line across the accent nails. draw some leaves by making a dot and slightly pulling the brush to a point.

Take pink acrylic paint on the same brush and gently press the tip of the brush to make flower. Think it as arranging bars in somewhat circular shape. It doesn’t need to be perfectly circular but try to make it as perfect as you can 🙂 Make some random pink line and uneven dot shapes along the green curvy line to make flower buds.

Apply the Glitter side of the Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy Satellite on pink nails. Add some clear polish on the pink flowers and insert golden pearls. One thing you need to be careful about is always let one step dry before moving on to the next step. Seal the whole design with Top Coat.
