Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a great day! I used various easy methods to create this Cute Butterfly and Flower Over Fishnet Pattern nail design. This is fairly easy for beginners and looks very trendy. I tried the double stamping technique for the first time in this design. It didn’t come out very neat but I’m satisfied. Keep reading to know how I did this simple mixed media nails design.

How I did the Nail Design
Apply a good base coat on all the nails and let it dry. Paint your index finger and pinky fingernail with a black polish. Paint rest of the nails with a light pink nail polish. A light color base will help in creating smooth transition for the ombre design and make the colors pop. You can also use a white nail polish as a base.
Take a makeup sponge and layer Red, Pink, Emerald Green, Neon Green and Mint Green. (In the order from bottom to the tip) over it. Now gently press it onto the light pink nails. Repeat the same process till you get desired coverage. Apply a layer of top coat when it’s dry. I did this ombre couple of weeks back and just fell in love with it. Now again thought of doing some nail art over the ombre design. Apply a layer of NARs Disco Inferno over the black nails. Such gorgeous effect it creates over dark base and it complements the whole design really well. Now onto the ombre nails! I followed double stamping technique for the fishnet pattern. I used a stamping kit from Born Pretty Store. Apply some black stamping polish on the image of the stamping plate. Scrap off the excess and press on the stamper to pic the image and press on to your nails. Do the same using a gold color stamping polish. The fishnet pattern is not much visible on butterfly design nails but it certainly adds character to it.
On my middle two fingernails, I added butterfly nail stickers which I got from eBay. These are self adhesive stickers, you don’t need to apply clear polish to make it stick. Just peel it off from the sheet using a tweezer and apply it on the nails. I made a curvy black manicure following the placement of the butterfly sticker using a black nail polish. On my thumb I added some floral stickers. Now seal the whole design with top coat and you’re done!
