I know many of you can relate to me on this. I loveย seashell nail designs but never did one. I spotted a beautiful candle holder in Bed Bath & Beyond with blue gold combination with seashell designs and did this nail art inspired form it. Follow along to see how I did this blue gold nails with sea shell decoration.

How I did the Nail Design
Start by applying base coat on your nails and let it dry. Base coat increases the longevity of your manicure and prevents staining. It also protects the natural nails from harmful chemicals present in nail polishes. So you may not want to skip this step.
Paint all the nails with a pale gold polish. I used LโOreal Gold Dust Nail Polish, The Statement Piece. Itโs gorgeous textured pale gold polish and perfect for this design. Donโt you think the the textured finish make this seashell nail design more pretty? You can use any polish of your choice but I feel a textured base will be more appropriate.
As we will be using a sponge to apply the next polish, it would be a good idea to cover around your nails with a peel off base coat and let it dry. Later you can easily peel off the excess polish and clean it with no extra efforts. This a great way to do sponging nail art with out making a mess. Apply some blue polish on a sponge and sponge it on bottom half of your nails.
Using a tweezer peel off the excess polish around the nails. If you need further cleaning, use some polish remover and a flat brush. Apply two layers of Green glitter nail polish. I used Sinful Colors Sea Green nail polish. Its a beautiful green glitter polish with green flecks. Soon I applied it on the gradient, the base looked multifaceted.
Once the nails are dry, add some top coat and apply single pearl on each nail near the cuticle. Then add gold seashells surrounding the pearl. Seal the whole design with top coat and you are done!

he he..I canโt agree more with your thinking. Actually, I was thinking of beach and white sands while doing this design. I didnโt get the change to go to beach while I was wearing this, but yes, there is always next time.
