Hey everyone! How are you all doing! This valentine Nail Design is inspired by a piece of jewelry I saw on a website. It suddenly caught my eye and I though of doing a Nail Art. I used a pearl white nail polish for the background color and red, gold acrylic paint to make hearts. This design will look very pretty as an accent design. you can paint rest of the nails either red or gold.
Items and Tools I Used
- Base Coat Nail Polish
- Pearl White Nail Polish – Maybelline Color show Moon Beam
- Golden Acrylic paint
- Red Acrylic Paint
- Golden Rhinestones 2mm Size
- Red Rhinestones 2mm Size
- Silver color Rhinestones 2mm Size
- Nail Art Detail Brush
- Nail Art Liner Brush
- Nail Art Dotting Tool to apply Rhinestones
- Top Coat
How I did the Nail Design
Start by applying base coat on your nails and let it dry. Layering the nails with a base coat before applying any polish is highly important to protect your natural nails from harmful chemicals that may present in polishes. Base Coat also prevents staining overtime and helps the manicure stay longer.
Paint your nails with a pearl white polish. I used Maybelline Color show polish in Moon Beam and it is somewhat sheer. So, I had to apply couple of layers. Before doing any art work, the polish needs to be completely dry.
Using the liner brush and gold acrylic paint, draw lines downwards starting from your nail tip to represent branches. Make small heart shapes using a detail brush and gold paint. Now fill the heart shapes with red acrylic paint leaving a golden border. Add some top coat and insert rhinestones and you’re done!
