Purple and White Flower Nail Art ~ Pretty Floral Design

Hey everyone. How was your weekend! Hope you all had fun this weekend. Today I want to share with you guys this Purple and White Flower Nail Art. Purple is one of my favorite colors. I thought white flower with yellow center will look very pretty on the purple back ground. Let’s get straight into the Pretty Floral Design.

Purple and White Flower Nail Art

Items and Tools I Used

  • Base Coat
  • Dark Purple Nail Polish – Wet n Wild Eggplant Frost
  • Gold Glitter Polish – Colorbar Glitterati Top Coat Disco Gold
  • Acrylic Paint – White, light Purple and Yellow
  • Nail Art Detail Brush and Liner Brush
  • Wet n Wild Top Coat

How I did the Nail Design

Start by applying base coat on your nails. Let it dry completely and apply two layers of the purple nail polish on all nails. We will be making a four petals flower on the accent nail. But before that make sure your polish is dry.

Take white acrylic paint on the detail brush and make a flower on the accent nail. The base of the petals should be thick and the tip should be pointy. Think the petals shape as a curvy V shape. So draw four curvy V shapes petals to make the flower.

Now take the Liner Brush and white acrylic paint and draw a line starting in between two petals to the nail tip. Make small white leaves by gently pressing the brush tip. Using the same liner brush, take light violet acrylic paint spread it in the center of the white flower.

Just make sure that the brush has very little amount of paint loaded on it. Make a tiny violet drop shape in the center of white leaves following the same technique. Pick up little yellow paint on the brush and make a small dot in the center of the flower.

Apply the gold glitter nail polish on other nails. After the flower design dries, seal it with Top Coat. Now you are all done with the beautiful Flower Nail Design.

  1. Wow, pretty cool how you did that. It’s very pretty, and very springlike. Gets rid of the winter blahs for sure. I’m wondering how long does all this take, and how long does it last. My nail polish, though more boring, only lasts about a week. But, then, I do many chores around the house and don’t normally use gloves either… so, I’m sure that’s a major reason why mine doesn’t last long. If I ever decide to dress mine up like these, I’ll be sure to follow your directions! Thank you for sharing – they look Great!

    1. Thanks Toni for stopping by and liking it. A layer of top coat will help preserving your design a lot. Since I am fond of nail designs, I clean it up and do a new design every week. But with little care, it should stay at least for couple of weeks. Wearing gloves will surely help. Keep visiting for more tips!

  2. I guess its pretty obvious as a guy this isnt something I would do, but a good looking woman can pull it off like yourself! Thanks for sharing!

  4. hi Demi!
I used to get a flower similar to that painted on my big toe every time I had a pedicure! Every time I would be amazed at how they would be able to do it so quick and expertly! I think the flower on a purple background is a lovely combination, very Easter like, so perfect timing 🙂
