NYC Peel Off Base Coat, Strip me Off ~ Cheap and affordable

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? If you like sparkle and glitter polishes like me, then you propbably know the struggle of getting it off. As many would recommend out there, Acetone is your best friend to remove glitter polish easily. Well it certainly works but whenever I use Acetone, I get sick of the smell and dry skin. So for me, the best way to remove glitter polish is using a peel off base coat before applying any glitter polish on my nails. This way I can simply peel off the glitter polish whenever I want to remove it.

The best cheap and affordable peel off base coat that really work is NYC Strip me off. As you can see in the image below it applies as a sheer white cream polish, then dries down to a clear matte finish.

There is one thing you should be careful about though. After applying this polish(and let it dry), if you wet your nails, it starts to chip and won’t serve the purpose of peeling off any other polish layered over it.

So, simply let it dry and put on your favorite glitter polish over it. Then you are good to go and do your chores. When you want to remove your polish, simply scrape off using your hands and it peels off quiet easily.

In the images below I used it with Flocking powder and L’Oreal glitter polish. Both the stuff came off without much struggle.

  4. i didnt know nyc made a peel off, i am afraid i have just been cheating a bit when i use the glitter – because you are soo right about it being just a chore to get off – i had been using kids peel off polish underneath. problem is though it chips very easily, and touching it up i end up with the same problem – hard to get off. where ever it had chipped 🙁 i tried stickers underneath once – one of those better in concept than reality ideas, whole stickers came off – just randomly 🙁
