Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a fun day. Nail Art is super fun but sometimes we want it to be easy and quick. I know about the preparation to get a nail art done. Simply putting all the tools needed on the table takes half of the time. I did this nail art without tools and it’s definitely a time saver. Grab your favorite nail polishes and let’s get started!
Items I Used
- Base Coat Nail Polish
- Cuccio Nail Polish, One Night in Bangkok
- Loreal Gold Dust Glitter Nail Polish. Statement Piece
- Top Coat Nail Polish
How I did the Nail Design
Apply base coat on all your nails for a long lasting manicure. I did the chevron manicure on two nails and side swept manicure on rest of the nails. For the Chevron manicure design, paint the nails with the Cuccio Nail Polish, One Night in Bangkok. It’s a unique color and kinda hard to explain. I feel it’s like a metallic burgundy with a hint of lilac.
Apply Loreal Statement Piece on rest of the nails. This is my most favorite glitter polish so far. I know other brands too have textured glitter shades but this is the one I will turn to. I can go on bragging about this polish, like for an hour. But we are here to know about the nail design, so let’s get to it. If you want to know more about Statement piece, See the detail review and swatches here!
Let the polish dry completely before doing further design. It’s a tool free nail design. Hence no worries if you don’t have nail art tools. For the diagonal tip manicure, take the metallic shade(Cuccio One Night in Bangkok) and apply it across your nail. Start from the corner of your nail in small strokes and swipe the brush across. It will create a clean manicure line. Then fill the tip with one more layer. Make sure you don’t have excess polish and try not to press the brush hard.
It’s more like a same process for the chevron tip. All you need to do is repeat the technique in both sides of your nail tip. I did a deep chevron. Hence, I started slight above the cuticle. Wait for the nail polish dry and you are done! I didn’t add top coat because it will take away the matte textured effect of the glitter polish.
