Green and Gold Nail Art ~ Golden Flower Nails on Yellow Green Background

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great day. Today I have this elegant Green and Gold Nail Art for you all. I used Covergirl’s Sulfur Blaze and Wet n Wild’s Carebean Frost polish for the background of this nail design. For the flowers, I used gold acrylic paint. Covergirl’s Sulfur Blaze is such an unique and vibrant shade. See the swatches and review HERE! This is a simple design and didn’t take much time to do.

Green and Gold Nail Art

Items and Tools I Used

  • Base Coat Polish by Wet n Wild
  • Yellow Gold Nail Polish – CoverGirl Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss Sulfur Blaze
  • Green Color Nail Polish – Wet n Wild Wild Shine Caribbean Frost Nail Color
  • Nail Art Striping Tape and scissors
  • Gold Acrylic Paint
  • Nail art liner Brush
  • Red color Nail Art Rhinestones
  • Small dotting tool to apply rhinestones
  • Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat

How I did the Nail Design

Start by applying base coat on your nails and let it dry. Base coat is necessary for nail health and keeps your manicure longer. Apply two coats of CoverGirl Nail Gloss Sulfur Blaze! After the nails are completely dry, apply stripping tape on the nail tips.

Apply green polish starting from little over the stripping tape towards the tip of your nail. Remove the tape while your nails are still wet. This will help in getting a crisp and clean tip. Wait for the nails to dry fully. Then dip your liner brush in gold acrylic paint and make flowers on the green tip.

Gently press the brush tip making a drop shape. Keep painting drop shapes arranging them in a circular shape to make flower on the nails. Add little top coat in the center of the flower and place red rhinestones. Seal the whole design with top coat and you are done!

  1. This is really pretty!! Although I think it may be too elaborate for me as I’m not artistic at all, I’m sure I can make my way up to it lol. Definitely a good design come spring. 🙂
