Gold Glitter Gradient Nail Tips Design ~ Holiday Special Event Nail Art

 special occasion nail designs

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great day. I did  this Glitter Gradient Tips over a Chameleon Holo Nail Polish and I love the color shift effect and it looks stunning with the gold glitter tips. If you have a special event planned or you want pretty nails for holiday, this design is just perfect!

Items and Tools I Used

  • Base Coat Nail Polish
  • Black Nail Polish
  • Chameleon Holo Nail Polish from Born Pretty Store
  • Gold Glitter Nail Polish
  • Clear Top Coat
  • Small Piece of Sponge

How I did the Nail Design

Start by applying base coat on all your nails to prevent staining and to get a lasting manicure. After the nails are completely dry, apply a black nail polish. It is important to paint all your nails with a black nail polish to get the multi-chrome effect of this Chameleon Nail Polish. I got this Chameleon Polish from Born Pretty Store and I love the color shift effect. If you see from different angels, it turns from purple to green to gold.

Add a layer of the Born Pretty Holo Polish. Yes, One layer is all you need. It has such pigmentation. See the full review of the polish to know more. Apply some gold glitter polish on a piece of sponge and press on the nails tips. Repeat the process until you get full coverage. I did two layers to get the coverage. Seal the whole design with top coat and you’re done!

  1. Wow! It looks really nice (especially to go out at night). I’m always afraid to try these type of designs because they don’t last very long with me. When I see that I need a retouch I just add a new layer. Your other designs look really nice and seeing them kind of inspire me to at least try.

    1. Hi Dira..Thank you liking the design..I’m glad that you feel inspired to try nail art.

  2. Wow! This looks stunning and pretty cool. I am no expert in nails obviously but compared to my sister’s nails, this definitely tops it. I will have to direct her here and other people I know. Thanks for the post.
