Hey everyone. How are you doing! Few days back I came across this beautiful yellow floral stickers in Sally Beauty. Felt like it will be great for spring/summer mani. You would probably be thinking grey is not an ideal shade for summer. But I wanted a dark shade to go with this design and grey seem to be the right shade. You can pair this yellow floral design with any color you like. I’m sure it will look equally beautiful.
Items and Tools I Used
- Base Coat Nail Polish
- Grey Nail Polish ~ Loreal Color Riche Stroke of Midnight
- Yellow Gold Shimmer Nail Polish – Covergirl Sulfur blaze
- Yellow Floral Nail Art Stickers
- A pair of Tweezers
- Nail Art Liner Brush
- Top Coat
How I did the Nail Design
Start by applying a good base coat on all your nails for a long lasting manicure. Base coat also prevents staining and yellowness overtime. Paint your pinky finger and thumb with a shimmery yellow gold. I used Covergirl polish in the shade Sulfur blaze. It reminds me of the raging midday sun. Apply a metallic grey on the middle finger. I used the shade Stroke of Midnight by Loreal for my nail. I love the striking contrast these two colors create.
I did this “V” tip manicure on my index finger and ring fingernail. Very siatisfied with the crisp and sharp tip design. Take little polish on the brush and swipe it across your nail tip. start with small strokes to get a clean line. Repeat the same with other side of your nail tip. you can also use a french tip guide to get the perfect and effortless mani.
Now peel the yellow flower stickers by using a tweezer and place on your middle finger nail. I added one more single floral sticker around the corner. Take some of the yellow shimmer polish on a aluminum foil. Dip your liner brush in and out line the V tip. Again, the trick is to do it in small strokes. After the polish is dry, seal the whole design with top coat and you’re done!
