Easy Do It Yourself Nail Art ~ White and Orange Flower Design

Hey everyone. Hope you all are having a nice day. I have this super Easy Do It Yourself Nail Art to share with you all. Very appropriate for beginners. If you are just starting with Nail Art, then it’s good to start with easy designs where less tools used and easy to do. You can get it done nicely even with a tooth pick and a bobby pin. I choose the base color to be purple for the White and Orange Flower Design. You can wear this nails design for spring or summer. The colors in this design are so summer appropriate.

Easy Do It Yourself Nail Art

Items and Tools I Used

  • Base Coat
  • Purple Nail Polish
  • Acrylic Paint White and Orange
  • Nail Art Detail Brush
  • Nail Art Dotting Tools

How I did the Nail Design

Applying a good base coat polish is highly important before painting your nails. Base Coat Protects the natural shine of the nail and helps the manicure to stay longer. Then paint all the nails with a purple nail polish and Let it dry completely.

Take orange acrylic paint on a detail brush and make circles on the nail tips. Fill the tips with some half circles too if not enough space to place a circle. Just place it according to your nail shape and size. I used a brush but you can use a toothpick and it will work the same.

Take white acrylic paint on a small dotting tool and fill the center of orange round shapes. Make some random white dots too. A good alternative for Dotting Tool is Bobby Pin. Use the end of a bobby pin to make dots. So basically, if you don’t have Nail Art Tools, you still can do this nail design. Outline the nail tips by making small white dots. Let the paint dry and seal the design with generous amount of Top Coat Polish.

  2. you sure do make it look easy enough, I would surely have trouble making the circles. Interesting design though

  3. very pretty nails. You must have a very steady hand. Good description on the nail painting procedure. I also like the photography you did.

  4. I don’t do my nails at all. But it was cool to see how it was done..

  5. Hello! I said that before but I love your website! So colorful and inspiring!
Nail art is not really that hard. You just need good stable hands. I use tape on my nails to do stripes usually. It’s so easy. By the way, I love this purple nail polish!
I wonder if you have a post on how to get rid of hang nails. I suffer from those 🙁
    Thank you for sharing!

    • I totally agree with you when you say nail art is not difficult. It just need some practice and patience 🙂
Regarding hangnails – best way to prevent is to apply moisturizer daily. That is going to help a lot. And also clipping off the torn part of the skin will help. But be very careful not to cut into the skin of your finger. Hope this helps.

  6. So Cute!! I love the purple with orange & white flowers. I am just not good at painting my right hand nails because I am right handed. Does it just take time and practice or do you have tips for painting with non dominant hand?

    • Practice is the most important thing in painting non-dominant hand. But I do have few tips to share. Please come back soon for that article.

  7. I really like the white and orange flower design on your nails!! scratch that I love them all, every time! Again , i dont know how you do it, the printing is so tiny! I wouldnt do it to my manly nails but on a lady looks pretty dope!

Great success on your site thus far!!
