  • White Nail Polish – Sinful Colors, Snow me White
  • Peel Off Base Coat Nail Polish – NYC Strip me Off
  • Neon Green Nail Polish – China Glaze In the Lime Light
  • Turquoise Blue Nail Polish –  China Glaze Turn up Turquoise
  • Navy Blue Nail Polish – Bonita Salon Royal Wish
  • Green glitter polish – Sinful Colors Green Ocean
  • Sponge Applicator to create ombre background on nails
  • Dried Flower
  • Nail Art Beads and Rhinestones
  • A small dotting tool or a rhinestone picker
  • Top Coat Nail Polish

How I did the Nail Design

Start by applying base coat on the nails and let it dry. Using a base coat polish prevents staining and protects natural shine of your nails. It also helps the manicure last longer. Apply white polish on the nails and wait for it to dry before doing the gradient effect. Having a white polish before doing an ombre helps the colors pop and spread evenly.

Apply peel off base coat on the skin around your cuticle for easy clean up. I got these cool Craft sponge brushSponge Applicators from eBay which made the work so easy. It has long wooden handle which is very helpful in applying the colors. Apply three nail polish colors next to each other on the sponge and press it onto white nails. You may need to do this step multiple times till you get full coverage. I did three layers. Peel off the excess polish on the skin using a tweezer. (The polish will peel off easily as we had applied a peel off base coat)

Wait for all the nails to dry completely, then seal the gradient base with a layer of top coat. Cover each nail with a layer of Sinful Colors  Green Ocean. To apply dried flower on the accent nail, add little top coat near the cuticle and pick a flower using a rhinestone picker or a dotting tool slightly dipped into clear polish. Then place the flower onto the nails. Gently press on the flower to secure it.

Add a bit more clear polish on the accent nail and on all other nails, insert beads and rhinestones. Seal the whole design with Top Coat and you are done! See the Video Tutorial below for a clear idea on how to do this Nail Art.
