Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great day. I did this beautiful beach themed Nail Design over the weekend! You can guess how I spend my weekend! Yes. It was a beach getaway and this nail art couldn’t be more perfect! Keep reading to know how I did the design!
Items and Tools I Used
- Base Coat
- Pale Gold Glitter Nail Polish – Colorbar First date
- Acrylic Paint – Blue and White
- Nail Art Fan Brush
- Sea Shell and Pearl Nail Decoration
- Nail Glue
- Dotting Tool
- Top Coat
How I did the Nail Design
Prep your nails by applying a good base coat to keep the manicure longer. Base coat also prevents staining and yellowness overtime. After the nails are fully dry, apply a pale gold glitter polish to imitate beach sand! I used a textured pale gold glitter polish from Colorbar(An Indian Cosmetics brand ). The shade is called First date. This polish is a true replica of golden sand. It has textured matte finish and I’m surprised how spot on this shade is for my beach design.
I painted the beach scenery only on the middle two fingernails. Rest of the nails I kept it simple by just applying the glitter polish. The whole design I kept on layering different shades of blue to create the impression of sea shore. I added little white paint with blue to lighten it and then applied it diagonally on the nail tips using a fan brush. Add little more of white to the blue paint and apply it where the first layer of paint ends. Move the fan brush back-forth to create seamless transition. Now add tiny amount of blue to the white paint and apply it where the second layer ended.
Take some white paint on the same fan brush and dab the tip of the brush to create white waves. Dabbing motion adds texture and creates beautiful natural looking waves. Add some nail glue and insert the sea shell and Pearl decoration using a small dotting tool. Seal the beach design(only middle two nails )with top coat and it’s done!
