How I did the Nail Design

I can not explain more, how important it is to apply base coat on the nails before applying any polish. Once my nails are well primed with base coat, I applied the Miss you blue polish on all the nails. Then lets give a little bit of contrast to the tips by making a diagonal french manicure with the White Polish.

Always wait for the polish to dry before doing any design. Using my Liner Brush and black acrylic paint, I made Zebra Prints across the white manicure. To make zebra stripes, make little curvy lines in such a way that two lines should meet each other and they shouldn’t be all straight.

Let’s decorate it a bit more by adding some  roses. I mixed blue and white paint to get the desired color. Then make some not so perfect dot like shapes on the manicure line. Mix little bit more white acrylic paint with blue to make it more lighter and highlight the dots by making tiny swirly lines.

Now let’s embellish the design with some blings. Apply clear polish and add glitter and rhinestones. This step is optional. If you don’t want to add, you can totally skip this.

    1. Hi Evelyn, Thanks a lot for liking and it’s really fun do it 🙂

  3. How utterly gorgeous! I could never wear pretty nails like that though, I’m far too rough and reckless as I love gardening (i.e. weeding!). I do love that look as I’m a blue and turquoise person and the zebra stripes work perfectly with the colours and textures.

    1. I too do gardening and love that. Though I don’t have a big garden, I managed to collect few flowers and fruits in my backyard. Just try nail art once and I am sure you will realize that u can manage this along with gardening
Thanks for stopping by and liking it 🙂

  4. I’m currently obsessed with zebra and leopard prints/patterns. I’ve never done something like that with my nails I’m really simple, but I like it!

    1. Thanks Ana. I too love animal prints a lot. Looks like we have common obsession. 🙂
